Practice Policies

This section is under construction, but here are the most important policies to be aware of:
Session cancellation policy is 24-hours. Cancelling a session within the 24-hour window (before the start of your session) incurs a $50 fee.
Session no-shows are charged a $50 fee, and if this happens more than once, future sessions must be booked via email, rather than online.
Clients who arrive late to their session miss out on the full session length. Please be aware that sessions will always end at the original ending time and will not be extended to accommodate late arrivals.
Clear and consistent communication is one skill somatic counseling can support you in developing! Meg is happy to any questions or concerns you may have about payments, arriving to sessions on time, or cancelling before the 24-hour window to avoid the fee.

If you are not able to make a class you registered for, please cancel yourself out! Online cancelation for classes closes one hour before the class starts. You may cancel yourself out of any class at any time, as long as you do it at least one hour before the class starts. There is a “cancel this class” button near the bottom of your confirmation email.
Early Cancel:
This is what happens when you cancel out of class before the cancelation window closes 1 hour before the class start. There is no penalty for early canceling out of a class. Your class is automatically returned to your account for future use.
Late Cancel:
Zoom Class: A late cancel (aka: no-show) means you did not cancel out of class, nor did you take class. Your class will not be returned to your account for future use.
Live Class: A late cancel (aka: no-show) means you did not cancel out of class, nor did you take class. Your class will not be returned to your account for future use.
If you arrived late to a Live class (maybe traffic was unusually bad, road construction, etc.) and couldn’t get in (because the door was locked), please email Meg and let her know. She will return your class to your account for future use!

If you arrive late to a Zoom Class: more than likely you will not be admitted because Meg is physically unable to reach the computer and is focused on teaching, not the zoom waiting room.
If you arrive late to a Live class: the door is locked right before class starts and classes always start on time! Because the front door is located far away from the practice space, Meg is not be able to open the door for you - the focus will be on teaching, not monitoring the door for late-comers.
In short: DON’T BE LATE TO CLASS. And sometimes stuff happens along the way, so if you got stuck in traffic or had an unexpected knock on the door, please just email Meg and she will happily return your class to your account for future use!

Heart Earth Wellness does not offer refunds on any purchase made through this website. This is for several reasons:
1) HEW is a one-person business with many expenses. Returning funds after they have been received is tough because they have already been used!
2) You have lots of options if you can’t use your pass. Share your code with your loved ones! Email Meg about applying the value of your pass towards a private yoga session, workshop, or special event. Any options offered are at Meg’s discretion.
3) You are always encouraged to reach out and ask for an expiration extension - this is granted in rare circumstances, but if you are unable to physically practice due to illness or injury, please let us know!
